Buffalo Chicken Pizza

Ingredients


  • 2 skinless chicken breast 
  • Franks buffalo hot sauce
  • Salt & pepper
  • Celery stick (sliced thinly)
  • Blue cheese dressing
  • Pizza sauce
  • Mozzarella

For the Pizza dough

  • 370g 00 flour
  • 28 g olive oil
  • 5g salt
  • 210ml water (35c)
  • 5g sugar
  • 7g dry active yeast

Method


  1. Place chicken breast into seasoned boiling water, turn the heat down and simmer for 10 minutes or until cooked
  2. Remove the chicken from the water, shred and add as much or as little franks buffalo hot sauce and mix.
  3. To make the pizza base mix the flour and salt
  4. Mix the yeast and sugar into the water and leave about 5 minutes for the yeast to foam
  5. Add the oil to the flour and water mixture and mix to combine
  6. Kneed the dough until smooth, place into an oiled bowl and cover for 1 hour or until it has doubled in size
  7. Divide the dough into two equal parts, shape into balls and let rest in a covered container for 1 hour or until doubled in size
  8. Once rested, stretch or roll out to desired shape and size
  9. Spread the pizza sauce on to your rolled out pizza dough and top with mozzarella and shredded buffalo chicken then brush the crust with olive oil.
  10. Bake in a 250c preheated oven for 5-7 minutes, until the cheese bubbles away and the pizza looks ready
  11. Remove from oven
  12. Add sliced celery and drizzle with blue cheese dressing and more franks buffalo hot sauce and serve.
