DESCRIPTION

A whole Herb Fed chicken, completely de-boned for faster, more even cooking, offering exceptional depth of flavour thanks to Herb Fed’s traditional rearing methods and a natural diet enriched with fresh herbs. Ideal for the BBQ, it cooks beautifully either directly over the flame or indirectly with the lid on in under 30 minutes. Simply add your favourite rub or marinade and enjoy a juicy, herb-infused feast.

COOKING GUIDE

Remove the chicken from the fridge 30 minutes before cooking.
To cook, simply season your flat iron chicken with your favourite seasonings and a little olive oil. Roast in a preheated oven at 190°C for 40–45 minutes, or until the core temperature reaches at least 75°C.
For a true BBQ flavour, sear the flat iron chicken in a griddle pan on the hob, then finish in the oven until fully cooked through.
SERVING SUGGESTION

Herb Fed flat iron chicken pairs beautifully with bright, herb-forward sides such as chimichurri, grilled seasonal vegetables, or lemon couscous. Its natural depth of flavour from fresh-herb feeding also suits garlic herb butter or smoky BBQ glazes, creating a vibrant, well-balanced meal for relaxed outdoor dining.
